Several of the reviews mention the sleek or spare look of this show. I’m proud to elicit that response, as David Lander and I worked very hard to achieve that look. As many of you know, minimalist design is hard to do because it is so exacting. The least thing out of place is magnified. It is deceiving, though– of course this show is very highly designed: every texture, every color value, every decision added up to making this stage picture.
