Designs for dramatic scripts set in this period require sophistication and elegance. It is important, however, not to lose sight of the very real humor in many scripts.

Translating busy or fussy period  garments for dramatic stories requires an appreciation of understatement and focus. These plays feature strong and often quirky personalities, so it is important to work with the actor to individually define unique details.
